Everyone at Wolfgram & Associates is here because they believe in protecting and serving the rights of injured people. We want to help you. All of our attorneys have successful track records of recovering ample settlements for injured clients.
The firm was founded in 1997 by attorney Kurt Wolfgram. Mr. Wolfgram, who has been practicing law since 1992, sets the tone at the office with his concern, competence, and effective work for clients. Mr. Wolfgram is dedicated to his wife and three children. He serves as a youth leader at Messiah Lutheran Church, and is the former Church president of St. Stephens.
As we met with more and more success in medical malpractice and nursing home malpractice cases, we determined that we could serve our clients more effectively with the help of an in-house medical expert. In 2006 the firm hired Legal Nurse Consultant Barbara Boschert, who had been working with the firm as an independent contractor since 2003. As a registered nurse with 30 years of experience working with patients and doctors, Barbara is fluent in the language of the medical profession. She knows how to read between the lines in medical records and frequently points out subtle but important legal implications to our attorneys. With her professional insights, Barbara helps us obtain the highest settlements possible in medical malpractice suits, nursing home malpractice and catastrophic injury cases. She also assures that clients have the right long-term care plan that will serve them long after the case concludes.
Attorney Josh Myers joined the firm in 2004. As a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Myers has a track record of recovering ample awards from insurance companies for injured clients. He is confident, competitive, and very comfortable with juries and the courtroom. Mr. Myers applies his energy and hard work to each and every case he receives, investing himself personally in the well-being of his clients and the outcome of their cases.
Attorney Gil Gherardini has been practicing law since 1990 and brings his specialized expertise to the firm. As a former defendant’s attorney, Mr. Gherardini is familiar with the opposition’s perspective. This perspective helps us anticipate the legal approach of the other side more effectively, and take measures to defeat it. Mr. Gherardini is also a specialist in Federal Employment Law Act (FELA) railroad law, and helps railroad workers win compensation for their injuries.
Legal Assistant Sabina Kalkan bridges cultural gaps for clients who may be less familiar with American legal and administrative practices. As an immigrant to the U.S., an active member of the Bosnian community, and now a U.S. citizen, Sabina helps insure that all of our clients receive great service, no matter their native language. Sabina’s diverse experience also includes service with the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Infantry Division, and combat in the Bosnian War. She speaks English, German, Italian, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian. Her language proficiency frequently helps with simple matters like insurance and administrative paperwork. In more significant matters she can clearly explain legal proceedings and helps our attorneys communicate your legal options. Sabina is also currently studying law at Saint Louis University.
