What is your role with Wolfgram Law?
“With 30 years of nursing experience, I have the background to interpret medical language for the attorneys and for our clients. I am also the client’s advocate. It’s a role that I love, just love. It makes me feel that I am making a difference…that I am helping people.”

Whom do you serve?
“I help our attorneys and our clients interpret what the medical records in a case are saying, and determine if the medical care described in the records meets with standards established for similar injuries. In addition to evaluating the case, I monitor all care that a client may be receiving. It helps us understand the short-term and long-term consequences of the injury.”

What advice do you give most often?
“I am honest with clients. I will let clients know, from a medical standpoint, if they have a viable case. If their medical records show that they don’t have a case, I will tell them so. But if I believe that they have a case, I will be their strongest advocate.”

Why should someone select Wolfgram Law?
“You should come to Wolfgram & Associates because the attorneys here care enough to take the extra step. Unlike most firms, they enlist the help of a nurse to ensure that they are getting every important detail from the medical records.”

Tell us about a recent case.
“Two young people were driving on an interstate, on their way to a dance recital, when their car was broad-sided by a semi- truck. The young driver was killed, and the passenger, Rachel, had severe fractures to her skull. She was catastrophically and permanently brain-injured. Rachel's mom is a single mother, so the accident was particularly devastating. In mediation we obtained an award to fund a life care plan so that Rachel will receive constant care for the rest of her life. I can’t give the child her life back, but the mom told me that she was grateful for my support as a nurse and a mother, and also as a woman.”

Unique role in the firm:
“I am a medical advocate for clients. I use my medical expertise to carefully analyze our clients’ medical records so that we can pursue all the immediate and long-term medical care that our clients may need.”
