Why are you a personal injury attorney?
“When I get a fair recovery for a client, I really feel like I have accomplished something. When a client tells me that I did a good job for them, I am satisfied.”

Whom do you serve?
“I serve the person on the street; it’s your neighbor, it’s your mom or dad that we serve here. With the recent changes in workers’ compensation and tort law in the State of Missouri, it has become much harder to win a case, and the value of awards has been arbitrarily capped without regard to the injury. Working with a skilled and conscientious attorney is now more important than ever.”

What advice do you give most often?
“Get the treatment that you need, and get it now. Going on the record early with your pain and injuries is always in the best interest of your case. In cases involving a railroad, always talk to an attorney who specializes in FELA cases, and be sure to do it before the railroad company holds any type of hearings.”

Why should someone select Wolfgram Law?
“We invest our time up-front with new clients in order to really listen to what’s going on. We will fairly and accurately evaluate a case. I’m the last guy that is going to stand up and promise you a million dollars in an unpromising case. I have defense attorney experience, and so I have a very clear view of what is happening on both sides of the table. This perspective translates into more claims, stronger cases, and higher settlements in our client’s pocket.”

Tell us about a recent case.
“Recently our client Henry, who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome, came into the office to discuss his case. I spent some time getting to know Henry and his medical situation, and conducted a number of interviews with him. Eventually, I learned that he had neck pain, which he had thought was unrelated to his job. Ultimately, we filed a second claim for Henry’s neck injury under the theory of ‘repetitive trauma,’ which resulted in an additional $20,000 in awards that he never would have received otherwise.

Unique role in the firm:
“I have many years of specialized experience in railroad workers’ cases under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA).”
